God's Plan of Salvation
If You Were To Die Today, Are You 100% Sure You Would Go To Heaven?
Has there ever been a time in your life when you received Jesus Christ as your Saviour?According to God's Word, after you die, your soul will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. That decision is not based on good deeds or church membership. It is up to you to decide.
The Bible tells us how that we can KNOW we will go to heaven!
God Loves you! He wants the best for you.
There Are Four Things You Need to Know:
First: Every One Of Us Are Sinners!
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Romans 5:12)
Sin means to miss the mark by disobeying God. We have all chosen to sin at one time or another. Our sin has separated us from God. Would you agree with God that you are a sinner and have done wrong things?
Second: There Is A Penalty For Sin!
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23a)
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Revelation 20:14)
Wages means payment. The Bible says that the payment for sin is death; not just physical death, but separation from God forever in a place called hell. If we continue in our sin, we will die without Christ and be separated from God forever.
Third: The Good New Is That Jesus Christ Paid For Your Sins!
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
God proved His love for us by giving His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to Earth and became a man. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for your sins and my sins. He was buried and then He rose from the dead three days later according to the Bible. Do you agree with God that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead?
Fourth: A Free Gift From God!
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Lord Jesus Christ paid for our sins and now offers to all the gift of salvation so that we can spend eternity with Him in heaven. This gift is totally free. You just need to receive it. You don't have to do works to get it; you don't have to be baptized to get it. It is free for all who would want it.
Would You Ask Jesus to Save You?
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Won't you take a moment to choose heaven? Do you agree with God that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour? If so, if you believe that the Lord Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead and is the only way to heaven, you can express that belief in Jesus by calling on Him in prayer. The "whosoever" of Romans 10:13 means you. "Shall be saved" doesn't mean maybe or possibly, but shall be saved. You can pray a simple prayer like the one below. There is no specific prayer, but if you ask Jesus to save you, He will. If you do not understand God's plan of salvation, please read this again and again until it is clear. Your soul is worth more than the world. When you are ready, you can pray something like this:
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of my sin, come into my heart, and save me. I now trust you as my personal Saviour. Please help me to live for you. Thank you for saving me! In Jesus' name, Amen!
If you have received Jesus as your Saviour, you can rest in God's promises. Don't trust your feelings; they change. Stand on God's promises, they never change. Eternal life is eternal...you can never lose it. After you are saved, you can do three things daily for growth. First, pray -- you talk to God. Second, read the Bible -- God talks to you. Third, tell others what Jesus did for you -- you telling about God. Also, you should regularly attend a local independent Baptist church to be under the preaching of the Bible.
